Lyndal J Walker
Lyndal J Walker is the International Prayer Director of Youth for Christ International and author of Intimacy, Intercession and Increase: A 31-day adventure with Jesus to explore a life of prayer.
She has had a passion for prayer ever since seeing the Transformations videos as a young adult, desiring to see transformation of whole communities through the gospel. For ten years she lived and worked in the Top End of the Northern Territory, Australia, mainly with First Nations youth in a variety of capacities, including chaplaincy, teaching, house parenting, and prison ministry. In 2016, Lyndal completed her masters of education researching the perspectives on education of disengaged First Nations youth.
She worked as the National Prayer Coordinator of Youth for Christ Australia (YFCA) for two and a half years before transitioning to the international role. Her journey with YFCA began in 2015 with a desire to see young people walking in their true identity in Christ and living a life of intimacy with Him. She believes young people can become lifelong disciples of Jesus, living in the freedom and power of the gospel and bringing the kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven."
When able, Lyndal loves to travel the world to train and equip people in intimacy, intercession, and prayer evangelism, as well as encouraging the Bride of Christ to be all God created her to be through her prophetic gift.
